Wild Shore New music Presents CORVUS
CORVUS is the resident contemporary music ensemble of the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, led by New York-based performers with deep Alaskan roots: Andie Tanning (violin) and Katie Cox (flute). Each year they bring together accomplished musicians to form a dynamic chamber ensemble, presenting concerts in Fairbanks and outreach performances in rural communities across interior Alaska. Composers participating in the festival's Composing in the Wilderness program have their new works premiered by CORVUS, and leave with a lasting working relationship with the ensemble.
